Ride the historic St. Charles streetcar through the gracious Garden District. Answer the call of the steam calliope and cruise along the mighty Mississippi River on an old-fashioned paddlewheeler or meander along the river Moonwalk and watch the parade of barges and cargo ships. Take a break at Jackson Square and watch the eclectic street performers, have your fortune told or your portrait painted. Cool down in the aquatic world at the New Orleans Aquarium. Give Lady Luck a whirl at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino. Shop for treasures in the antique shops of Magazine Street and for trinkets at French Market.
